Eric, Admar, and Liesl talk with Eric's sister Emily Batson, DDS, MS of Batson Dentistry and Prosthodontics and Liesl's brother Loren (Chip) H. Hutchins, IV, CTO of Vaporox. In this third episode, they move on to temporary dentures called, "snap on smiles" and the specific uses for Vaporous Hyperoxia Therapy (VPT). Emily discusses initial challenges as a female dentist and running a successful small business. Chip discusses the challenges of raising venture capital and investor funding while trying to build a reputation as a medical device start-up (although this is outside his direct area). They both discuss that they love what they do and that it means more to them than the bottom line in terms of why they do what they do.
